Glasses finder: your face stays on your device

When you use the camera or choose a photo, the picture is analysed by Google's MediaPipe face model, which runs inside your own browser. The face measurements (face width, estimated pupillary distance and face shape) are computed on your device and are not sent to us. The face-scanner program files are downloaded from cdn.jsdelivr.net and storage.googleapis.com, which receive standard request information such as your IP address. The page font (Archivo) is loaded from Google Fonts, which also receives standard request information.

Hairstyle AI preview: only when you ask

Only when you tap to make a hairstyle preview and tick the consent box, one shrunk photo (500 × 500 pixels) and the style you chose are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, which runs the FLUX.2 [klein] model by Black Forest Labs. The result comes back to your browser. We do not save the photo or the result. Cloudflare may process information under its own privacy policy.

Biometric data policy

What. The face scan measures face geometry (face width, eye spacing, face proportions) to suggest frames and haircuts. The hairstyle AI preview uses one photo of your face.

Consent. We ask you to tick a consent box before any scan of your face, and a second box before any hairstyle preview photo is sent.

Retention. Scan measurements are never stored by us: they exist only on your device while the page is open and are erased when you close it. Hairstyle preview photos are deleted as soon as the AI returns the result; we keep no copy.

No sale. We never sell, lease, trade or share face data, and never use it to identify anyone or to train AI models. Security: all traffic uses HTTPS; nothing is written to our database except the anonymous counts described below.

Daily free-try limit and anonymous counts

Daily limit. To share the free AI previews fairly, we turn your network address into a code using a one-way hash of the address, a secret key and today's date, and store that code with a counter at Cloudflare for up to 2 days. We never store the IP address itself.

Anonymous counts. To learn whether the app is useful, we record that the same daily code did things like visit, scan a face, tap a frame through to a retailer (and which frame), make a hairstyle preview, or make a barber card. Each code is counted at most once per action per day. These records contain no photos, names, IP addresses or cookies, cannot be linked across days, and are deleted after 120 days.

Stored only in your browser

Your language choice and filters are remembered only in your own browser (localStorage). If you add the app to your home screen, your phone also keeps a copy of the app's own files so it opens quickly and works offline; this copy holds no personal information.

Retailer links and prices

Links to frames go to the retailer's own website, which has its own privacy policy. Prices are as checked on the date shown and may change; the retailer sets the final price and availability.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. FitMyFace is not offered in Illinois. Upload only photos of yourself, or of an adult who agreed. Do not upload photos of children, or photos of other people without their permission. The sample faces in the app are AI-generated photos of people who do not exist.

The pupillary distance (PD) shown is an estimate from a photo. For prescription glasses, use the PD from your optician or eye doctor.
